The world works in mysterious ways.

Ways that aren’t all that mysterious when you know how it works.

And it all starts with your mind.

Because your mind is a very powerful place. In short, you are what you think.

If you’re positive and happy and intend to have a good day, you will. If you’re negative and stressed and expect your day to go wrong, it will.

Try it. Test it out, and you’ll see.

But, off the back of that, something very powerful can help you to create a life that you love.

It’s the idea of acting as if.

Just like the whole idea of dressing for the job (or the life) you want, can then give it to you – it works the same.

Essentially, instead of waiting for the life you want to land in your lap – it won’t by the way – you bring it to you.

You think and act and dress and behave as if you’re already living the life you want.

And guess what? By doing so, you effectively ARE then living the life you want.

Crazy, huh?

So, if this is something that you’re desperate to try and you’re ready to change your life, then here’s how acting as if can work for you.

1.  Acting

The very first area that you need to work on to make this happen, is your actions.

You need to change them, control them, and guide them in the right way.

If you’re dressing casually and you want to be a banker or an editor or a stylist, you won’t feel the part.

So you need to change the way your dress.

If you’re lethargic and laying around and you want to be full of energy and in good shape, the same applies.

So you need to make sure that you’re acting in a way that mirrors the life you want.

2.  Aligning

The next thing that you need to do, is to make sure that everything is aligned.

Because if you have one set goal, and then you’re acting in a way that contradicts that, you’re not going to get there.

So you need to make sure that your actions and thoughts match your goals.

Maybe you need to dress up more? Dress in a certain way? Change your car? Dress your car up, with something like CalTrend, a lot more?

Or even change the way you live.

It’s drastic, but unless you make those edits, you cannot align to your goals.

3.  Thinking

And then the third and final step for this, is to manage your thoughts.

Because, as you will see, your thoughts become your reality. You bring them about.

So, it’s important to change your thoughts, as PurposeFairy instructs, so that you can change your life.

If you want to be able to make big changes to your life, then you need to control your thoughts in a way that allows you to take action.

It will take time, but the more you can do this, the easier it will be to make everything else align.
