For starters, create a nightly routine that will prep you for an awesome night sleep tonight and a productive day tomorrow.

Before we jump into all these awesome goodies you need to create the perfect night routine, let’s establish our night routine, eh?
I shared my current night routine in a recent post, 7 Night Routines You Need To Have The Best Night Sleep, explaining why I do these seven things each night before bed.

Essentially, each step is to prep me (and you) to the fullest extent for a kick-ass night sleep.
And, it just so happens, that I have some ride-or-die nighttime products that each step of my night routine couldn’t survive without. To grab your affordable nighttime necessities to go along with your night routine, just keep a reading!
ESSENTIALS TO MAKE SHUTTING DOWN LESS PAINFUL
If you take anything away from this post, let it be this –
Shut down from all electronics at least 30 minutes before going to sleep (ideally you’d shut down two hours before bed).
This is so, so, so essential to getting a restful night sleep – which is obviously key to waking up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.
I use one thing to make shutting down easier:
1. A charging station located OUTSIDE of my bedroom
This might be hard at first, so try working your way up to a 2-hour shut down period by increasing your time by 15 minutes each night.
MUST-HAVES TO MAKE PREPPING FOR MORNINGS EASIER
To make my mornings easier, I like to prep for tomorrow during my night routine.
To do this, I do two things:
1. Prepare breakfast + lunch for tomorrow
2. Pick out my outfit + workout clothes for tomorrow

Trust me, prepping for tomorrow is so worth the extra 20 minutes you’ll get to sleep in!
NO-BRAINERS FOR A QUICK TIDY-UP
The next part of my night routine? Quick cleaning my home.
Nobody likes to wake up to a sink full of dishes or laundry that needs to be folded.
So, make it a habit each night to quickly clean your home so you can start tomorrow off on the right foot.

My favorite part of my night time routine is the stretching portion of the evening.
Stretching is a great way to de-stress and relax, preparing your body for a deep night sleep.
You could even think about doing a night-time yoga routine or adding meditation to your stretching practice.

THE BEST SKIN CARE ITEMS TO LOOK FRESH COME MORNING
A night routine wouldn’t be complete without a night-time skincare routine.
A little routine inception, if you will.
I keep my night-time skincare routine simple AF, using these three skin-clearing products:
- Cleanse with Peppermint Castile Soap OR African Black Soap, whichever mood I’m in
- Tone with Mario Badescu’s facial spray in Lavender, Cucumber, or Rose Water
- Moisturize with Rosehip Oil
These products have been killer at keeping breakouts at bay and have my skin looking refreshed + youthful come morning.
(I use a facemask every couple of days and the Aztec Indian Healing Clay Mask is my ride-or-die.)

We’ve made it to the end of our night routine! It is finally time for bed.
